Biocenter Finland (BF) is a distributed national research infrastructure providing research services in life sciences and biomedicine to the entire Finnish research community, in academia and industry, and to a limited extent also to users abroad.
Operationally BF is currently organized into nine infrastructure networks which operate technology platforms representing key areas of life sciences/biomedicine.
BF is a joint effort of seven biocenters in six Finnish universities: Universities of Eastern Finland, Helsinki, Oulu, Tampere and Turku and the Åbo Akademi University.
