Call for Biocenter Finland technology platform support for 2014–2016

Biocenter Finland (BF) is a distributed national research infrastructure, structured as technology platforms providing research services. This BF call is for technology platform support for 2014–2016. In this period the participating universities (Helsinki, Eastern Finland, Oulu, Tampere, Turku and Åbo Akademi) have agreed with Ministry of Education to continue to support BF activities that were built up during 2010–12 with earmarked funding.

The call has two aims: (1) maintenance and improvement of competitive current technology platforms and (2) identify and support new platforms. Thereby applications are invited from current or new technology platforms providing national level services; existing technology platforms will also be evaluated on track record based on 2010–12 reporting.

The international evaluation of applications is being organized in Helsinki on June 10-11, 2013. The applications must be submitted to bf-biocenter(at) helsinki.fi by April 15, 2013. Late applications will not be considered. Call CLOSED on April 15, 2013.
